Prophet Dr. J.B. Kumoluyi is the General
Overseer of The Word Bible Church (a.k.a. Palace of Healing)
founded in November 1992 under the divine inspiration
of the Holy Spirit. The dynamic, vibrant teaching ministry
had its modest beginning in a flat along Omotola Avenue,
Ikosi, Ketu, occupied by our Father in the Lord with a
handful of twelve members.
As God added to the fledging ministry, it relocated to
a 2-bedroom flat in Adebayo Street, Shangisha. A landlord
freely made this property available for use. It was during
one of the services that the Lord revealed to our Father
in the Lord that the church was moving to a two acre of
land in Ketu. The extended frontiers were a necessity
to the ever-increasing membership of the church.
Initially, the fulfillment of the prophecy seemed remote
in a densely populated area such as Ketu. To the Glory
of God, this wide expanse of land was discovered in the
early part of 1993. As it were, the meager finances of
less than one thousand Naira in the accounts of the church
in care of our Father in the Lord was grossly inadequate
to pay the whopping sum of 3.5 million naira needed for
the purchase. A step of faith taken by him moved the powerful
hands of the Almighty God to accomplish His word. Even
a third acre was later acquired by the church.
Today the land located at 1, Ganiyu Muraina Close,
Ajelogo Junction, Mile 12, Ketu-Lagos, is the International
Headquarters of The Word Bible Church. It accommodates
a bible college, deliverance school, maternity centre,
Children’ church, main auditorium, mission house,
car park/revival ground as well as the administrative
block complex.
