The Word Bible Church was born in prayer
and fasting. The methods of operations of the Church were
revealed by the Holy Spirit during a marathon prayer/fasting
programme on Ikoyi Mountain, in Osun State, South West
Nigeria. God commissioned The Word Bible Church, hence
the tenets of the ministry instructed to him.
Specifically, God coined the identity of the new ministry
as The Word Bible Church
God instructed him to purchase a bible, staff and a bell
and pray on the tools for seven days for the formalisation
of his spiritual office. He did as directed.
God told him to consecrate three days of each month to
organize special non-denominational prayer and miracle
service to be called ALL PURPOSE PRAYER. All-purpose Prayer
is a covenant name to show that with God all things are
possible. Diverse miracles are recorded monthly. The programme
which was formerly fixed for every 21, 22, 23 was changed
to every last weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) of
the month in Year 2003.
Specifically God told him to dig a well that will be consecrated
and made available to the general public during the All
purpose Prayer Meeting. The water from the well serves
as another point of contact for diverse healing and miracles.
God endued the General Overseer with the anointing for
the healing ministry, prophetic ministry, teaching ministry
and singing ministry for which the church is known for
today.
The teaching ministry of Prophet Dr. J.B. Kumoluyi expounds
deep truths of the divine life, which the Almighty God
has given to the church. His powerful messages unlock
the power of that life which makes possible a new realm
of disciples. Many people around the world have been blessed
by telecasts of his teachings and miracle services. Scores
of lives have been delivered from diverse torments and
affliction of Satan. Jobless men and women have become
gainfully employed and hopeful citizens. Many broken homes
have been restored as well as those who had lost hope
of a marriage mate have been divinely connected for marriages.
The counseling sessions have made tremendous impact in
the lives of thousands of people. |
